Sr. Data Analyst

  • Develop and maintain enterprise data models to accurately represent the organization's data assets and their relationships across various systems, applications, and business domains. Provide the enterprise view of metadata, data dictionary, Enterprise Reference Tables, Technical Reference Models, etc.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into effective data models that align with business goals and objectives.

  • Analyze complex datasets to identify data patterns, trends, and anomalies and provide meaningful insights to support decision-making and business strategies.

  • Conduct data profiling and data quality assessments to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across different sources and systems.

  • Perform data mapping and integration activities to facilitate data flow and interoperability between different data sources and applications.

  • Work closely with database administrators, data engineers, and other technical teams to optimize data storage, retrieval, and access methods.

  • Develop and implement DM, DWH, Data Lake, Cloud data lake house, and visualization with data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Create and maintain documentation for data models, data dictionaries, metadata, and data lineage to facilitate data understanding, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in enterprise data modeling and data management, and apply them to enhance data analysis capabilities.

  • Provide guidance, training, and support to other team members on data modelling techniques, tools, and methodologies.

  • Design and implement an enterprise data lake architecture in Azure to store, process, and analyze large volumes of data.

Qualifications:

​

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably with a focus on enterprise data modelling.

  • Proficiency in data modelling techniques and methodologies such as Entity-Relationship (ER) modelling, dimensional modelling, and UML.

  • Strong understanding of data management concepts, including integration, quality, governance, and lifecycle.

  • Expertise in data analysis tools and technologies, such as SQL, Python, R, or other statistical programming languages.

  • Experience with enterprise data modelling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, Sparx Systems ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT or Infosphere Data Architect.

  • Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and DM, DWH, Data Lake, and Cloud data lake house.

  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create insightful reports and dashboards.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data sets to extract meaningful insights.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

Job Type: Full-time

 

Salary: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour

 

Expected hours: 40 per week
